Smaller units (2500i, 3500i, BP2400) suit camping and weekend off-grid use, while the bigger DP and 6000i systems suit full-time off-grid living or backup for a shed or tiny home. Several models use a stack-and-go design, so you can start with a base unit and add extension battery packs later as your power needs grow. This can be a more budget-friendly way to scale up over time than buying the largest system straight away.

Most are solar-ready and also charge from mains or your vehicle, so you're not locked into one charging method. Check each model's solar input rating against your panel setup, and if you're wiring one into a permanent installation, that should be done by a licensed electrician.
